From 5 to 7 September 2025, the island of Gili Air vibrated to the rhythm of the first edition of the Soundtuari Festival, an international music event attracting travellers and enthusiasts of Indonesian music and culture who came to enjoy the paradise beaches of Lombok.
For three days, the entire island was transformed into a place of celebration, sharing and encounters, combining live music, local art and an authentic Balinese and Indonesian atmosphere.

Soundtuari Festival 2025, Gili Air captivates with a new music event
For its first edition, the Soundtuari Festival 2025 made a lasting impression. Feedback from festival-goers was very positive, praising the cultural diversity and organisation. Many Indonesian artists, such as Barak Karinding from Banten, expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and the opportunity to play in front of an international audience on this uniquely charming Indonesian island.
Bahia Gili Air celebrates with a special menu
Our restaurant took part by offering a special menu for the festival featuring three hearty sandwiches: a burrata sandwich, a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich and a gravlax salmon sandwich. This menu was designed to appeal to festival-goers and be well-suited to everyone’s tastes.
All three sandwiches were the perfect accompaniment to the lively days. Our restaurant offered visitors a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to have a break and gently soak in the excitement of the festival while relaxing in front of the breathtaking sea view.
A few words that stood out for the Bahia team during this first edition were authenticity, encounters, energy, unique atmosphere, all on the paradise island of Lombok.
